clinpod® 

Developed by HPS Pharmacies in 2007, clinpod® is Australia’s first paperless clinical review information system, designed for use by clinical pharmacists in hospitals. It allows pharmacists to retrieve clinical review notes and medication information via a hand-held PDA device which offers email, internet and note taking functions. Information recorded on the PDA device is stored securely and confidentially on a central database.

clinpod®  provides time for clinical pharmacists to be more involved in activities which result in more effective and safer use of medicines – time that was previously consumed by paper-based functions.
